I would like to take you on my personal journey. Tell you everything I have personally experienced and how it is going for me.
You have probably already looked at our site and therefore already know a little about me.
My name is Kai-Olaf, I am 61 years old and was born in Leipzig.
I learned about travelling and adventure from my parents. Once a year we went to some country in the former Eastern Bloc for four weeks. A lot to Poland and Hungary, and once to Bulgaria and Romania.
But always with a car, a tent and lots of adventure. We always met a lot of nice people on these trips, many of whom then visited us again in Leipzig.
That hasn't changed; even after I changed sides in 1975, traveling was an important element of my life.
And so the desire to travel the Pan-American Highway came about. And it should be with a Land Rover.
This year it's finally starting and I'll document my impressions here. Let's see how everything goes.
