Using technology to get around is simply indescribably beautiful.
Who knows the moment on a racing bike - early in the morning - no one on the road and only the faint whirring of the gears can be heard
and you just fly there.
Or who has ever repaired or even built their own vehicle and can experience how everything works.
These are moments of happiness. which are difficult to describe.

What drives us?

On these pages we, that is Bettina and Kai-Olaf, combine Kai-Olaf's profession, our shared passion for traveling and mobile technology.
We are not satisfied with the current situation, we want to try it out, we want to experience it ourselves, we want to make it better.
Kai-Olaf developed KODpower in 1979, optimizing his first motorcycle, and many other projects followed at work, on trips, on vehicles - according to the motto: More power, move faster, bring dynamic into life and company!

Attention - important for men - from November 1st. it's "Movember" again

Grow a beard and draw attention to the issue of men's health. Calls for precaution, especially gentlemen!

Quite normal for women, but for us men it is still an unknown or repressed topic. Men also get cancer or become ill and have psychological problems. We don't have to be ashamed of this, we just have to take more care of ourselves!

That's why you grow a small, large, long, short or whatever beard and show that being healthy is important to you.

We have a new family member!

“Red Yamila” has been part of our family for almost a year. She comes from Mozambique, was first admitted there in 1969 and then emigrated to Portugal in 1978 to come to us in 2021.

She still needs a little care, let's see the little one is complicated.

Our current projects

Both of us, Bettina and Kai-Olaf from Aidlingen near Stuttgart
We were planning a year-long break in 2020 to experience the Panamericana from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska in our beloved Land Rover Defender!
Now after Covid-19 and the forced postponement, we started in July 2022.

It will be our home for over a year. We want to feel comfortable, have space and enjoy the trip. We read a lot of reports, learned from a lot of experiences and in the end built an extension as we imagined it. So far we are very satisfied, the trips so far have allowed us to continue learning.

Now it's finished and we want to go...

Saab

It has been in our possession since 1992. The children grew up in it. It is cared for, cared for and driven regularly. But he needs attention and parts and he gets that from us as part of regular projects.
