But we should always be ready, prepared!

Travel

Always on the move and still at home. Travelling, getting to know people and experiencing things. Pushing your own limits and going beyond them. That is what travel is for us.
After bend 8 comes the next one, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road winds up to over 2,500 meters altitude, from the warmth of the valley into the cold and then it goes down again.
And then you want to go back up

Mobile

Using technology to move around is simply indescribably beautiful.
Who knows the moment on a racing bike - early in the morning - no one on the road and only the very quiet whirring of the gears can be heard
and you just fly along.
Or who has ever repaired their own vehicle or even built one themselves and can experience how everything works.
These are moments of happiness that are difficult to describe.

What drives us?

We, Bettina and Kai-Olaf, combine on these pages Kai-Olaf's profession, our shared passion for travel and mobile technology.
We are not satisfied with the current situation, we want to try it out, we want to experience it ourselves, we want to make it better.
Kai-Olaf developed KODpower in 1979, optimizing his first motorcycle at the time, and many other projects followed at work, on trips, and on vehicles - according to the motto: More power, faster travel, and bringing dynamism into life and business!

Attention - important for the gentlemen - from 1.11. it is again "Movember"

Grow a beard and raise awareness of men's health. Call for preventive measures, especially for men!

Completely normal for women, but for us men it is still an unknown or repressed topic. Men also get cancer or become ill, have psychological problems. We don't have to be ashamed of that, we just have to take better care of ourselves!

So grow a small, big, long, short or whatever beard and show that being healthy is important to you.

We have a new family member!

"Red Yamila" has been part of our family for almost a year. She comes from Mozambique, was first registered there in 1969 and then emigrated to Portugal in 1978 to come to us in 2021.

She still needs a little care, we'll see how complicated the little one is.

Our current projects

The two of us, Bettina and Kai-Olaf from Aidlingen near Stuttgart
We planned a full year off in 2020 to experience the Pan-American Highway from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska in our beloved Land Rover Defender!
Now after Covid-19 and the forced postponement, we started in July 2022.

It will be our home for over a year. We want to feel comfortable, have space and enjoy the trip. We have read many reports, learned from many experiences and in the end built an extension that we imagined. So far we are very satisfied and the trips so far have allowed us to learn more.

Now it is finished and we want to go....

There Saab

We have owned it since 1992. The children grew up in it. It is cared for, looked after and driven regularly. But it needs attention and parts and we give it that as part of regular projects.
There is always something to tinker with!
